Registration:           6:45 to 7:30 a.m. in lower parking lot (First parking lot on the left past
                                 10 Mile per hour sign as you enter Mohican Resort Property)

** Race Day Registration will be Available until 7:30 a.m. **

50 k early start
Any 50 k runner that wants an early start can check in with us at the registration table and you can begin at 7:00 a.m.  You will be unsupported until the official start at 8:00 a.m. If you think you may take advantage of the early start please email Trevor at trevor@nuhop.org.

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pickup will be held on Friday, November 8 th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vertical Runner.
Race Bibs, Shirts and other important information will be included in each packet.

Vertical Runner is located at 207 South Market Street in Wooster, Ohio.  330.262.3000

If you can't make it to Wooster prior to the race, we will have a packet pick up and registration session from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 9 th in the lower parking lot at Mohican Resort and Conference Center.

Shirts

We are ordering race shirts Friday October 25th, 2013.

The Nu-Race Trail Run aka Fuzzy Fandango will be held on November 9th, 2013 at Mohican Resort and Conference Center.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  How many Aide Stations will you have?

• We will have 4 Aide Stations on the 25 K course.
• 50 K runners will run the 25 K course twice, therefore you will have 8 Aide Stations.
• 5 K runners will not have any stations.

2.  What will be at the Aide Stations?

• We will have water and a sports drink (gatorade or something similar)
• We will have salty snacks and m & m's
• We will not have any Gu, Hammer or Replenishment Products at this time - although we are working on a sponsorship for this.

3.  Is the course mostly trail or are there roads?

• The course is comprised of a combination of trails ie. hiking trails, horse trails, mountain bike trails and forest service roads.
• Part of the course will bring you onto private property.

4.  Are there awards?

• We will have awards for overall finishers in each category.
• Top 3 Female/Male for 5k, 25k, 50k
• No awards for age divisions
• We will also be giving away 5 certificates for INOV8 Shoes - This will be a random drawing.

5.  How is the race timed?

• The race will be timed with Race Splitter based on clock time.
• We will not have chips.

6.  Are there any pre or post race meals or parties?

• We do not have pre or post party meals or parties planned.
• We do have a Keg from The Wooster Brewery on Tap for Post Race Finishers.
• We will also have Vegan Chili.

7.  What does the race support?

• The Nu Race Supports Camp Nuhop, a residential summer camp for children with learning disabilities, ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and attention deficit disorders as well as our outdoor education programs.

8.   What is the race shirt like?

• All racers will receive a Brooks Long Sleeved Tech Shirt.

Nu Race Trail Run aka Fuzzy Fandango Overview

Race Overview


The Nu-Race Trail Run is a trail running event scheduled for Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 8am. The event will encourage runners of all abilities to enjoy the Mohican Region by running a great network of trails.  We have designed courses ranging is distance from 5 K all the way up to around 50 K....oh and dropped in some distances in between. Bring your friends and family for an exciting day in the Mohican State Forest.

Proceeds will benefit Camp Nuhop - a residential summer camp for all children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and behavior disorders. Camp Nuhop is a 501 C - 3.

This will be an adventure away from ordinary running for some and just another day in the park for others but a good time for everyone!

Race Registration

The race will begin and end at Mohican Resort and Conference Center
